Prêmio Scopus reconhece Pesquisadores Brasileiros

A entrega do Prêmio Scopus Brasil foi ainda mais especial este ano, realizada durante a solenidade de comemoração dos 57 anos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes). A cerimônia em que foram agraciados 16 pesquisadores foi realizada no dia 10 de julho, no Centro de Convenções Brasil 21, em Brasília.

Ministro da Educação, Fernando Haddad

O evento contou com a presença do Vice-Presidente da Elsevier Youngsuk Chi, do Ministro da Educação Fernando Haddad, de vários reitores e representantes de instituições de pesquisa e secretarias estaduais de Ciência e Tecnologia. O Prêmio, que também acontece na Argentina, Chile, Colômbia e México, foi entregue pelo terceiro ano consecutivo no Brasil. O critério para a seleção é o destaque alcançado em publicações científicas e citações (número de publicações e citações indexadas na base Scopus nos últimos de dez anos) e a formação de pós-graduados.
